Good times. I didnt remember writing the first review above about a month after the show. Five yrs. and almost 100 "dead" shows later i am pretty sure i had the most psychedelic experience of my life during this show. Potent Blotter! Fractals, confusion, the whole nine... Also the first time i ever saw warren, and i remember saying something like "whos the ugly fat guy?" and i got some kind of response about how Jerry was ugly and fat but amazing. LOL

great show but not loud enough
The Ratdog set at Nissan Pavillion was great, terrific song selection. Had a grea time but they just were not loud enough. Maybe its where I was sitting, in the 300;s in the back near the lawn. Maybe its just the outdoor venue. Perhaps they were keeping it low so the Allman Bros could blow it out later, because they were definitely louder than RD. But other than that it was a great show, loved the West LA into Aiko. Also a very spacy Playin' for sure. Just wih it had bee a little louder where I was.

Great show recording weak
The setlist speaks for itself,unbelievable.... Recording very poor do to Nissan's bat cave like sound. Im a local, and every show at Nissan sounds like your in a bad wkrp in cincinnati episode. Bobby and the boys are like a fine wine better and better with age!
This setlist is so unique and for that alone this show deserves a listen. With songs like Crazy Fingers, Blackbird, Silvio>Tequila>S>T>S, Iko Iko and a hot Sugar Magnolia followed by a smokin' JBG for the encore, this show is so freakin' cool. The sound quality is decent but the show is worth adding to the collection.
Steve is great as always this night but he is not as in your face as in other Ratdog shows from this tour.

This was a fun one. Great setlist on paper and the boys didn't disappoint. Three song burst of "Truckin >Crazy>Playin' to start the show was fantastic. Couldn't have asked for anything better. "MAW" through "Knockin" was pretty mellow and groovy. "Corrina" was my fave in between it all. Then a very nice "Playin reprise," stunning "Sugar," and mind-blowing "JBG" to finish the show. I'm not a huge fan of "JBG" but they played the hell out of it. Bob had soooo much energy the last 2 songs and was smiling the whole time and howlin like a madman. Awesome.
Sound quality is pretty good considering the caverous pavilion at Nissan.
